NPALS lends multiple copies of drama scripts and music titles, to drama groups, schools, orchestras, choirs and ensembles across the UK. The NPALS project consolidated performing arts resources from Nottingham City and Leicester City Libraries into one mighty collection. We have over 2,500 drama titles to choose from and a total of over 24,000 scripts available to our borrowers. The music collection comprises over 3,500 titles, including 1,300 orchestral sets and 85,000 vocal scores. All of our titles are available to search and order online.

If you would like support searching our stock online, please watch our helpful videos for music or drama. 

If you are unable to locate the title you are looking for do contact us, or alternatively, submit an Inter-Library Loan request via your NPALS account. We are part of the Inter-Library Loan scheme which shares resources with Libraries across the UK. We’ll do our best to help you find the resources you require. 

We also value your recommendations, so please do send in suggestions for titles you would like to see included in the collection.  

For the loan of single plays, scores and music for small ensemble, Nottingham City Libraries continues to house an excellent provision. These resources are available to browse and borrow with a standard library card.
